International security and defense are central to preserving state sovereignty and maintaining global stability amid a rapidly shifting balance of power. Contemporary security challenges extend beyond traditional military threats to include cyber operations, terrorism, nuclear proliferation, irregular warfare, and the strategic implications of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, aerospace systems, and critical minerals. Analysis of international security examines how states and institutions adapt defense strategies, strengthen resilience, and manage escalation risks across domains, integrating insights from security studies, technology, and geopolitics. This work addresses the evolving interaction between military capabilities, democratic institutions, and strategic competition in an increasingly complex and contested global environment.
